Planning Solicitor 3+ PQE - Leeds An ambitious national firm is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE to join their specialist Planning team based in Leeds. This is an established national firm with an impressive client base. The Planning team operate seamlessly across their offices, specialising in advising on significant projects, including development consent orders within the energy and infrastructure sectors. They have strong expertise in Planning and Highways law, covering compulsory purchase, appropriation, public rights of way, regeneration, enforcement, planning and highways agreements, as well as Town and Village Greens/Common Land matters. They also have a proven track record in supporting the delivery of high-profile mixed-use regeneration schemes. Candidate requirements: - Qualified Solicitor with minimum 3 years' PQE - Experience in managing their own caseload, supervising junior team members, and contributing to larger, more complex projects including other disciplinary specialisms across the firm - Experience across the planning spectrum including DCOs, CPOs and general planning advice including transactional work - Strong drafting and communication skills - A proven team player There is a substantial package on offer with starting salary from around £60k upwards and a wide range of benefits. There is also hybrid working, usually 2/3 days in the office per week, but they are open to discussing flexible working.
