Planning Senior Associate 6+ PQE - Leeds A leading international firm seeks a senior planning lawyer to join their highly ranked team in Leeds. The planning team are widely regarded as one of the greatest national practices, having acted on some of the most innovative and iconic developments across the country. The work is often complex and high value in nature spanning residential, commercial and infrastructure and environmental and waste sectors, as well as contentious work in Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings. The Role Due to an increase in the volume and complexity of work, the team are looking to expand their already successful practice. This role will involve: - Large scale development consent orders - Compulsory acquisitions - Strategic planning advice - Reviewing environmental statements - Assisting with project management - Supporting the wider real estate planning team What they're looking for: - Qualified Solicitor with around 6 years PQE - Strong experience in planning, infrastructure and environmental work - The ability to supervise junior team members - Enthusiasm to develop the team - Strong commercial acumen You can expect a market-leading salary up to around £85k depending on experience, as well as hybrid working and a wide range of other benefits.
