Senior Planning Lawyer 6+ PQE - Leeds A leading international firm seeks a senior planning lawyer to join their highly ranked real estate planning team in Leeds. The role offers an unrivalled opportunity to work on a wide range of quality planning work outside of the City. The work is complex and high value, including residential, commercial and infrastructure and environmental and waste sectors, as ell as contentious work in Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings. The Role Due to an influx of work and the complexity of projects the team are working on, the team are looking to expand. This role will involve: - Large scale development consent orders - Compulsory acquisitions - Strategic planning advice - Reviewing environmental statements - Assisting with project management - Supporting the wider real estate team Candidate requirements: - Qualified Solicitor with around 6 years PQE - Strong experience in planning, infrastructure and environmental work - The ability to supervise junior team members - Enthusiasm to develop the team - Strong commercial acumen You can expect a market-leading salary up to around £85k depending on experience, as well as hybrid working and a wide range of other benefits.
