Real Estate Associate 3-5 PQE - Leeds An award-winning national firm is looking for an ambitious real estate associate to join their successfully growing healthcare property team in Leeds. This is an exciting time to join the team, with growth set to continue as a result of major tender wins on high profile projects and clients across the UK. The firm is a UK-Top 100 commercial firm which has either won or been shortlisted for a number of prestigious awards including 'The Times Best Law Firms'. The Role The healthcare property team has experienced substantial growth over the last few years, which is set to continue with significant tender wins on high profile projects and clients across the country. The successful candidate will manage an existing caseload within the healthcare real estate team. It will involve advising clients on a wide range of property matters, with a focus on corporate support work and development for key clients within the health and social care sector. As a part of this successful team, you will be involved in: - Negotiation of acquisitions and disposals - Preparation of reports on title, certificates of title and advice notes - Freehold and leasehold sale and acquisition transactions - Reviewing, amending and negotiating asset or share purchase agreements and carrying out related due diligence - Working across legal departments with others as part of a project team Candidate requirements: - Qualified Solicitor with minimum 3 years PQE - Experience gained within an established real estate practice - Strong communication skills and a professional approach to work - Confidence in working directly with key clients - An ability to build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries - Exceptional drafting skills and legal analysis; - The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels - Excellent project management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines - A practical and commercial approach - A keen interest in business development Previous experience working on health or social care transactions and/or projects will also be favourable, but is not essential. There is a substantial package on offer with starting salary from 65k upwards in line with experience and a wide range of benefits. There is also hybrid working, usually 2/3 days in the office per week, but they are open to discussing flexible working.
