Construction Senior Associate 6+ PQE - Leeds
A UK-Top 100 commercial law firm is looking for a Construction Senior Associate to join their high-ranking team in Leeds. The Partners of this team have ambitious plans for growth and so there are significant career prospects for the right candidates.

You will be part of a nationally recognised, award-winning Construction team, working alongside highly regarded Partners, specialising in contentious construction and project disputes. With the team moving from strength to strength, the Partners have ambitious growth plans, making this an excellent time to join the team.
About the role:
As a Senior Associate in this team, you will focus on contentious construction dispute resolution and advisory work. The team advise on a wide range of construction dispute matters, from traditional final account/loss and expense type claims, to major defect issues and PFI/projects disputes.
The team's panel appointments will give you the opportunity to work on high quality, complex instructions including housing associations, local authorities and NHS Trusts. Wider relationships in the team will also provide exposure to broader work within the construction space to include developers, funders and contractors.
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with minimum 6 years' PQE
- Previous PFI experience is desirable but not essential
- The ability to build relationships with new and existing clients
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Ideally experience of supervising junior team members
- Passion and enthusiasm for construction law
- Exceptional communication skills
- A strong commercial acumen
