The Opportunity: The successful candidate will join one of the largest dedicated planning teams in the UK, who are well-known for covering a broad range of major projects across the Energy, Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors. Work will include all or any of the Planning Act 2008, the Transport and Works Act 1992, the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, compulsory acquisition/purchase and compensation matters, EIA/HRA, inquiries/examinations and judicial review. As a part of this established team, you will work alongside the other consenting specialists advising on well-known and high profile clients on a wide range of significant projects to include all forms of energy such as: - Large scale solar - Carbon capture plants - Energy networks and pipelines - Infrastructure and water infrastructure - Rapid transit systems - Offshore wind - New roads - Airports - Rail Candidate requirements: - Qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE - Experience gained within a large regional or national practice - Outgoing and the ability to gain relationships with colleagues and new and existing clients - Good commercial acumen and willing to take part in the firm's business development - A strong academic background and technical excellence - Ideally consenting experience On offer is a market-leading salary from around £65k upwards, as well as a comprehensive list of benefits, including hybrid working.
