Employment Solicitor 2-4 PQE - Leeds
An award-winning national firm is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor to join their highly regarded team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer of around 2-4 years' PQE looking to step into an exceptional national practice, with good quality work across a variety of areas and plenty of hands on experience from the outset.

The Employment team boast an impressive client base, with a steady pipeline of good quality work and can offer you significant hands on experience from the moment you join. The team advise both respondents and claimants on all aspects of employment law, including redundancies, disciplinary and grievances, Settlement Agreements, TUPE, absence management, status issues, IR35 and also diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Leeds team, as well as playing an integral part of the wider national team which is 60 people strong. The role is interesting and varied, covering the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
You'll be advising on employment tribunal claims, redundancy situations, holiday pay issues or a disciplinary matter (and more). You'll be involved in preparing and reviewing documentation and advising clients on their implementation.
Joining this collaborative firm, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in the employment aspects of corporate transactions working with UK-based and international businesses, including medium, large and listed companies.
Throughout your time with the team, you will be supported to develop your own relationships with clients and develop technical areas of interest.
· You will be a passionate and enthusiastic Employment Solicitor with around 2-4 years' PQE
· Ambitious, career driven and willing to undertake business development for the team and wider firm
· Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload and work collaboratively with colleagues
· Capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues
· Strong commercial awareness
On offer is a comprehensive package and competitive salary in the region of £55k upwards depending on experience.
