Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor - Bristol A leading, national firm seeks an experienced PI Solicitor/Senior Paralegal to join their Complex Claimant Personal Injury team in Bristol. THE ROLE There will be a combination of office and home working. The successful candidate will be required to work from the Bristol office up to 2 days a week. On the days that you are not working in the Bristol office, you will be working from home. As a part of this successful team you will specialise in personal injury, in particular injuries suffered by vulnerable road users such as cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrian. Key duties include but are not limited to: * Managing a caseload of mainly Fast Track files, with some Multi Track cases; * Complying fully with agreed service standards; * Communicating effectively with individuals and insurer clients; * Training/case planning with trainee case handlers and any supervision duties as directed; * Attending and participating in weekly meetings; * Attendance at networking events and business development; * Dealing with administration and any other duties as required. REQUIREMENTS - You will be a fully qualified Solicitor/FCILEx or an experienced case handler equivalent and will have experience of working in a PI team - Previous experience of running a caseload dealing with vulnerable road users and previous experience of dealing with minor to moderate brain injuries would be advantageous - Proven ability to deal with all aspects of litigation, from the issue of proceedings through to trial - Computer literate and able to undertake your own typing - Excellent communication and organisation skills - An ability to work in line with deadlines at all times - A common sense approach to work, showing enthusiasm and initiative as a team player - An ability to manage expectations from both internal and external clients.
