Senior Associate - Medical Negligence We are looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join our Medical Negligence and Personal Injury team in our Cambridge or Bishop's Stortford office.-HYBRID We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Medical Negligence team based in our Cambridge or Bishop's Stortford office. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied and high quality caseload whilst also mentoring and supporting the junior members of the team. Experience and confidence managing a full, varied and complex caseload of Medical Negligence work is essential for this role. As a Senior Associate in our team, your role would include: Acting for Claimants in complex medical negligence cases and Inquests including highly sensitive and emotive cases. Advising clients of funding options; identifying and liaising with appropriate experts and Counsel; advising clients on merits and quantum; advising on procedure and alternative dispute resolution processes. Undertaking advocacy, when cost effective, at interlocutory stages. Working with high profile cases which may have a higher level of economic, political, or social impact or risk for the firm. Considering and identifying clients' needs, for example, access to rehabilitation, the need for financial advice, Wills, Powers of Attorneys, pre / post Nuptial agreements etc. and facilitating this, as appropriate. The role would be best suited to applicants of 5+ years PQE that are looking to independently run their own caseload as part of a close, dedicated and industry leading team. This position is being offered on a full time basis, although candidates with a preference for part time will still be considered.
