This Legal 500 listed Court of Protection team have a new opportunity for an experience Paralegal in their Manchester team.
The team has gone from strength to strength and has one of the best team for this work in the city.
The successful Paralegal play a vital role, acting as the first point of contact to the firm's clients, typically vulnerable individuals, as well as their families. You will help clients manage their day-to-day financial affairs, whilst also assisting the practicalities of things like paying bills or purchasing a suitable car.
The ideal candidate:
You will have experience in advising on welfare benefit entitlements
Background in working with vulnerable individuals, ideally those lacking capacity
Professional Deputyship work, including attending client meetings to take notes and to action matters arising
Court of Protection applications and litigation
Research and drafting
Attending Court with solicitors or Counsel
You will Receive:
Competitive salary: £20,000 - £30,000
