Family Solicitor

Family Solicitor We have an exciting opportunity with a busy family team in North Yorkshire. This is a growing team and they have a vacancy for an NQ - 3 years PQE solicitor. The Person: The successful candidate will run a caseload of divorce & ancillary and private children matters. They will work closely with more senior solicitors who will offer support and supervision. It is a great development opportunity for an ambitious junior solicitor, preferably with 12+ months' family experience either pre or post qualification. We are looking for someone with excellent client care skills who is organised and methodical with a can-do attitude. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to work quickly and efficiently to ensure deadlines are met and our excellent client care standards are maintained. KEY TASKS Running and assisting with a case load of client matters. Dealing with new client enquiries. Dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client's initial instructions through to archiving, in accordance with office and accounts procedures. Taking instructions from clients and advising accordingly. Instructing counsel or other experts where appropriate. Representing clients at Court (including advocacy) as appropriate. Obtaining and preparing file documentation. KEY SKILLS - ESSENTIAL Professional and friendly client care. Ability to work accurately in accordance with procedures and processes.
