We are looking for an Assistant Lawyer to join our team of highly successful clinical negligence lawyers in our Manchester office to assist senior members of the team with complex and high value cases, such as brain injuries suffered during birth and to assist on those cases where clients have suffered injuries of the utmost severity. In addition you will have a small number of cases to run independently.
With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first class legal service to our clients. Having the confidence and ability to take appropriate daily decisions on cases to ensure swift progression, will be key to your success. To ensure you thrive in the role, we will provide you with structured supervision, coaching and training as well as a nurturing environment, where you can grow and shape your career.
As a newly qualified lawyer or equivalent, you will be assisting with a range of clinical negligence claims. You will therefore need to have knowledge of the law relating to personal injury/clinical negligence and the civil litigation process. The role requires excellent prioritisation skills and meticulous attention to detail to enable you to construct clear and effective arguments, yielding the best result for our clients. You will need to show empathy and understanding, providing a professional legal service with a personal touch.
