In House Commercial Lawyer - Industry/manufacturing

We are working with a renowned name and top player in its market who are seeking a commercial lawyer to handle a range of commercial law matters. Reporting into a highly supportive Head of Legal, you will have responsibility for assisting on customer and supplier contracts and advising on bids and tenders, to advising on strategic projects, as well as others matters such as GDPR, Employment, IT/Tech contacts. If you are a lawyer wanting a true step up in the level of work on offer to you, this offers that. You will get a lot of exposure to the business and the business are looking for a lawyer who can advise on the risk, but also balance that with the commercial reward. Those seeking their first in-house move are encouraged to apply as this would give fantastic learning and exposure but in a caring and supportive team. The business is open on PQE level and commercial contracts experience is desired, but lawyers who have gained experience in areas including: Corporate M&A, Commercial Litigation, Employment, Construction / Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Regulatory, are also encouraged to apply - what is key is that you have received fantastic training and you have enthusiasm and willingness to learn in an in-house environment, which has a great track record of upskilling lawyers from different disciplines of law. The business is best in the West Midlands and it is a pre-requisite that you are able to commit to 3 days per week in the West Midlands office. The office is commutable from Birmingham, Warwick, Worcester, Derby, Leicester, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Gloucestershire.
