Commercial Disputes Lawyer | North | Leeds | 2PQE+ Leading regional law firm seeks Commercial Disputes Lawyer due to growing demand. This Commercial Disputes Lawyer role will be offered on a permanent basis. The Team Due to continued successful growth this regional player is looking for a go getter to join their leading disputes team. Ranked highly in the regions for their dispute resolution prowess, this multi-partner team is looking to develop the right candidate Impressive client list that punches well above the size of the firm but which offers something different to the larger players in the region: common sense, commercially minded disputes advice that puts them ahead of the competition The Opportunity - You will take on a varied caseload that will be a mix of property litigation, commercial litigation and some banking/finance litigation work for clients - You will have a lot of client contact with all you support you need to make a successful career with this firm - The range of work on offer is a mixed bag encompassing: advising on complex recoveries work; commercial & resi repossessions; commercial and private lending disputes; acting for receivers - Pursuing claims for breaches of mortgage deeds; guarantees and debentures; general enforcement and realisation of securities - The client list includes developers, corporates, financial institutions and venture capitalists About the ideal Commercial Disputes Lawyer - You will be 2-3 years PQE+ and possibly considerably more qualified - You will have solid commercial disputes experience whether across property lit, banking lit or commercial lit (ideally a mix but not intended to exclude candidates with more "pure" experience in any one category) - You will be a go getter with an entrepreneurial mindset and be open to the business development opportunities afforded On offer - Competitive salary slightly below the nationals but with a much more realistic billing expectations - No 'show face' culture, work as you need to with agile and flex working options - Growing client base that you can help build - Genuinely down to earth partners that you can learn from and develop under - Room for progression and to make the role your own If this opportunity in Leeds is of interest, please apply below or email for further details BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
