Private Client Paralegal-Sheffield The Firm: -Well-established, reputable firm of specialist Solicitors -The firm has offices in Leeds, Sheffield, and Newcastle -Represents clients across the UK The Role: -The firm is recruiting for a private client fee earner to join its extensive Private Client Team based in it's Sheffield office. -You will join a leading team of fee earners who specialise in providing advice to private individuals and trustees in respect of probate, estate planning and trust administration - Dealing with all aspects of the administration of estates, including collating information on assets and liabilities, preparing applications for grants of representation and short form inheritance tax accounts, drafting basic estate accounts - Drafting wills and codicils using established precedents - Drafting powers of attorney, including Lasting Powers of Attorney (both property and financial affairs and health and welfare) - Dealing with all aspects of trust management Requirements: -The workload can be tailored to the level of experience of the successful candidate -You must be comfortable largely running your own caseload -The expectation is that the individual assists with a full range of tasks relating to probate, estate planning, inheritance tax calculations, advising trustees and managing the day to day running of trusts, although a candidate who wants to focus on one or it's niche areas could likely be accommodated Benefits: Competitive salary Generous holiday entitlement + holiday purchase scheme Pension scheme Enhanced family friendly benefits Private medical insurance Employee Assistance Programme Life assurance scheme Employee wellness initiatives Flexible working Firm social events throughout the year For more information regarding this Private Client role please call Katherine Scarff at BCL Legal BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
