Real Estate Associate
UK Top 100 commercial law firm who provide a comprehensive range of legal services, seek a Real Estate Associate to join their reputable team in Bristol.
The firm advises businesses across construction, energy & resource management, higher education and financial services, complementing the firm's market leadership within housing, local government and health & social care. The Property Department has experienced significant growth over the last couple of years and that growth is set to continue, with major tender wins on high profile projects across the country.
This role will involve advising both private and public clients on the full range of property matters from the acquisition and disposal of land and buildings through to the ongoing management of property portfolios. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge, meet clients, grow your own network and develop other business development skills.
There are genuine promotion prospects for those with the ambition and skills to do so, plenty of variation in the work and plenty of support from both the property team and the wider firm to help you develop your own practice.
- 4+ years PQE
- Experience advising clients on the full range of commercial property matters
- Experience and confidence in working on complex commercial property matters
Experience of dealing with the following would also be beneficial but not essential:
- Negotiation of freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Preparation of reports on title, certificates of title and advice notes
- Reviewing, amending and negotiating leases, licences and estate management documents
- Working across legal departments with others as part of a project team
