Senior Residential Conveyancer THE FIRM With offices based across the West Midlands region this Legal 500 law firm is seeking a senior residential conveyancer to join its Nuneaton office. This firm prides itself on offering high quality and a diverse range of legal services. With its straightforward and wealth of experience, this firm holds its clients in the highest regards. Due to an exciting growth period, the firm is now seeking a senior conveyancer to join its forward thinking, pragmatic and friendly residential conveyancing team. THE ROLE Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years PQE as a residential conveyancer. You will be responsible for overseeing and carrying out all aspects of residential conveyancing including the following; · Oversee and carry out all aspects of residential conveyancing including freehold and leasehold work, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership, new plot purchases · Develop business opportunities within the Property Department and build a strong team · Manage the Nuneaton team and offer technical advice and support to other offices as required · Undertake residential conveyancing work on behalf of clients of the Firm · Supervising and managing other Fee Earners within the Firm's structure and other staff as necessary · Dealing with clients, intermediaries and HM Land Registry etc. both in person and over the telephone · File management to the standards defined by the Firm · Undertake continuing competency training to include compulsory CQS training THE REQUIREMENTS In addition to having a minimum of 4 years PQE you will also possess the following skills; · Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills · Strong business development skills · A sound knowledge of conveyancing procedures, CQS Protocol and Anti-Money Laundering legislation · Experience of Lexcel standard is desirable · Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Case Management Systems (experience of using Tikit is desirable) · Driving license and use of own vehicle essential In return you will be rewarded with the following; Salary & Benefits · Competitive Salary with annual reviews · 27 days holiday plus 8 days Bank Holidays · Pension Scheme · Discounted legal fees (on completion of probation period) · BUPA healthcare scheme (on completion of probation period) · Long service awards · Career development and performance reviews · Technical and personal skills training · Community and fundraising events · Full induction programme · Flexible working · Town centre location with free onsite parking · If you are interested in applying for this residential conveyancing position, please call Kirsty Worden on 0161 819 7485 for more information.
