Our client, a popular national firm, is seeking to bolster its expert Employment Law Team in Leeds. This successful team is growing quickly and acts for clients on a wide range of employment related matters, including; Employment relationship, including HR and disciplinary issues, settlement agreements, discrimination and TUPE transfers. The purpose of this role, is to handle a busy caseload of insurer files as well as assisting on non-contentious matters when required. As the newly appointed Senior Employment Case Handler you would be expected to: · Advise clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims · Running a busy case load of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, drafting witness statements, negotiating settlements and advising on settlement agreements, and instructing counsel or advocates as necessary · Complying with insurer service level agreements · Supporting the employment team with non-contentious work, including provision of contractual documentation, handbooks and other employment documentation, together with provision of reactive and proactive employment advice to commercial clients, including telephone advice · Participating in marketing initiatives, including writing updates on employment law and providing training sessions to clients In addition you should have demonstrable experience within · Adhering to agreed service level agreements · Upholding the company values and processes · Drafting and creating Employment /HR Legal Updates · Working towards the team's financial targets and chargeable hours.
