This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced AML Analyst looking to make the next step into a managerial role. As the newly appointed team leader you will assume full responsibility for a team of analysts, overseeing their work and acting as a mentor to improve productivity within the team. You will work in close collaboration with the head of department and wider risk and compliance team comprising of AML/Compliance Analysts. If you are looking to forge a career within a legally regulated environment, where you'll be given full autonomy to implement policies and procedures, as well as identify gaps in the teams knowledge base this could be the role for you.
As an integral part of the firm's wider management team, you will assist partners in the implementation of regulatory policies and procedures.
This will include basic conflict of interest searches for legal and commercial conflicts, anti-money laundering processes for new and existing clients, on-going client monitoring, sanctions checks and other risk management procedures. You will also be supporting the wider team with day-to-day queries and act as the senior point of escalation.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate previous experience of working as a Team Leader in AML /Risk and Compliance, preferably within a regulated legal environment.
A profound understanding of anti-money laundering legislation is essential together with meticulous attention to detail.
