We are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to move into a unique role at this ambitious Manchester based commercial firm. If you have a focus on IT contracts in particular, the firm would be very interested to speak about moving into a senior role within the team. The high performing commercial team at this ambitious commercial firm works with both local and national clients across a range of sectors - including IT, media, retail, digital and life sciences. The team advises on complex matters, including IT agreements and sponsorship agreements, the protection and exploitation of intellectual property, and compliance with GDPR and e-commerce legislation. They have an excellent reputation in the market and enjoy high level work. Due to growth they are now looking to bring an additional experienced lawyer into team with specific credibility in IT contracts. This will be a senior appointment, working directly with the Head of Department, and can offer either Director or Partner level status to the right individual. Although there is an exceptional client base available to tap into, as this is driven by growth and is a senior appointment, the chosen individual must have the energy and drive to business develop and win new work. An immediate following is not essential and you will be supported wholly by the team, but you must have the passion to form relationships and build a network of clients over time. The firm has grown steadily over recent years and supports and encourages Directors and new Partners in their career progression and building their client base.
