Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory Solicitor | 2-5 PQE | National Firm | Leeds Market leading law firm is seeking a Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory Solicitor (Public Law/ Commercial Disputes) to join its team in Leeds. This is a UK Top-100 commercial law firm that advises businesses across construction, energy & resource management, higher education and financial services, complementing the firm's market leadership within local government, housing and health & social care. The firm has been named among 'The Times Best Law Firms 2022'. THE TEAM - To join the Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory department which deals with substantial commercial, regulatory and public law disputes - Acting primarily for public bodies such as local authorities, health trusts, regulators, oversight bodies, statutory bodies, as well as higher education institutions and corporates - Have the opportunity to join an already high performing team which has seen and is continuing to see impressive growth - The firm has an exciting and ambitious strategic growth plan for the next five years meaning there will be significant opportunity to support career progression THE ROLE Deal with a full range of litigation, advisory and regulatory matters to include: - Corporate disputes (breach of warranty, unfair prejudice) -Bringing and defending claims for breach of contract, mis-selling, negligence and fraud - ADR including mediations and local dispute resolution -Procedural steps of litigation in the County/High Court through to trial -Instructing and working with experts/counsel -Advising regulators on responding to adverse events, interpretation/use of powers and challenges to enforcement action You'll also have the opportunity to work with partners and associates on business development matters ABOUT YOU - 2-5 PQE with strong experience in litigation, regulation and advisory matters - Good teamwork ethic - this role will require collaborate working - A keen interest in business development - The ability to build strong and lasting client relationships THE BENEFITS - Hybrid working model based on client, team and individual needs - A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package - Strong partner support with this department being key to the firm's offering - Flexible, supportive and inclusive team environment. - Genuine progression and promotion opportunities. - The opportunity to work on a wide range of high calibre litigation matters If you're interested in this role, please apply now or forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us.
