Head of Department - Family Solicitor Are you an experienced Family Law professional with a proven track record in leading and growing a successful team? Our client, a well-established regional law firm with multiple offices, is looking to appoint a dynamic and driven Head of Family Law Department to join their Worcester office. About the Firm: This leading regional law firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services across a range of sectors. Known for their commitment to client care and professional excellence, they are now looking to expand their Family Law offering in the Worcester office. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The Role: As Head of the Family Law Department, you will be responsible for managing and growing the Family Law team, overseeing both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic development. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality service to clients while also supporting the growth of the department. The firm's Family Law work is primarily privately funded, so experience in this area will be key. Key Responsibilities: · Lead and manage the Family Law team in the Worcester office, ensuring high standards of client care and legal expertise. · Oversee a caseload of complex and high-net-worth privately funded family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and pre-nuptial agreements. · Develop and implement departmental strategies to enhance client service, business development, and profitability. · Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior members of the team, helping to foster a collaborative and supportive working environment. · About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced Family Lawyer with a strong background in privately funded work. You should also have experience of supervising junior lawyers. Essential Skills & Experience: · A qualified solicitor, legal executive, or equivalent, with significant experience in Family Law. · Proven track record in handling privately funded family law cases, including high-net-worth divorce and financial disputes, child law, and associated matters.
