Associate / Senior Associate - Competition, EU & Trade This global firm is recruiting a Competition Lawyer to join its team in Manchester as part of its ambitious growth plans THE FIRM Global Top 10 practice providing legal advice to some of the worlds largest businesses Innovative an collaborative, proud of its culture and values Global approach to diversity and inclusion committed to attracting the most diverse talent THE ROLE Working within a team, which provides strategic advice and representation across all areas of competition and international trade law This team handles the most complex civil and criminal behavioural and investigatory work as well as ensuing any litigation You will be involved in a broad spectrum of work including; Cartel investigations, merger control and joint ventures, distribution arrangements, expert control and sanctions, international trade law proceedings and negotiations; national regulation of foreign investment, , State aid and EU funding issues, procurement challenges, anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations and wider EU law and regulatory compliance issues Maintaining and developing relationships with key clients REQUIREMENTS Ideally 2-6 years PQE with broad experience in Competition law Experienced in handling complex, high value competition matters Ambition to be part of a growth and further development of the team BENEFITS Highly competitive salary and extensive benefits package Opportunity to join a team handling the highest quality work working alongside recognised Partners This is a fantastic opportunity for a Competition Lawyer to join a recognised practice with exposure to complex and broad ranging work.
