The Team
Working within one of the UK's largest teams in the field of financial services litigation rated in the legal directories as top tier outside of London
The team has a strong base of innovative banking and finance clients and handles the full range of contentious regulatory matters and projects
Representing notable lending clients and house-hold borrowers on a wide range of contentious regulatory and compliance matters
The Role
Defending enforcement action by regulators, conducting whistleblowing investigations, complex advisory, strategic and risk management work
Supporting the running of large-scale investigations and projects
Providing strategic and commercial legal advice upon a range of contentious regulatory issues with support from other senior team members
Developing client relationships and participating in business development
Requirements
NQ-5 PQE Solicitor with regulatory investigations experience
Ideally, you will have financial services sector experience but experience in corporate crime, environmental, health and safety, HMRC and competition will also be considered
Commercially aware with an interest in all areas of this nationally recognised financial services disputes and investigations practice
