Corporate and White Collar Crime Solicitor - City of London - Private Practice Top tier national firm has retained us to recruit a talented Corporate Crime Associate due to continued, strategic, expansion. The Team The team work closely with international and privately owned entities and individuals in relation to complex cross border financial crime proceedings, investigations, and practical crime prevention programs. The work spans financial institutions and businesses across higher risk sectors including energy, extractives construction/engineering, telecommunications, aerospace/defence and private equity. The Role This is a growing team in terms of stature and client-base. You will enjoy exposure to conducting complex investigations and financial crime prevention programmes across the globe. As well as global investigations and helping corporates comply with our laws, wherever they are based, you will be involved in significant SFO investigations We are now looking for an Associate with a minimum of one year's post qualification experience. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on advisory and enforcement work and will be key to the overall growth of the business. The Candidate Ideally you will experience gained with a recognised WCC and regulatory team in financial crime, including anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and anti-tax evasion, along with conducting investigations into suspected fraud. You will have experience working on independent financial crime investigations undertaken by corporates as well as experience advising corporate clients on compliance programmes - particularly those relating to corruption issues. Work with individuals or at a prosecutor is also helpful and will be taken into account but is not as central for this role.
