Commercial IT Associate - City of London - Private Practice International, firm seeks a Commercial IT Solicitor due to continued expansion. The Team One of the UK's largest dedicated and sector-focused commercial, IT and outsourcing contracts teams. You won't get bored - no two days will be the same. They advise on an entire range of IT-related contracts, from small SaaS agreements providing ancillary services like satisfaction surveys to app development agreements to business-critical ERP software licences and implementations, hosting agreements and data/connectivity agreements. This is a vibrant team with huge enthusiasm for supporting clients develop the contracts they need to build and secure their businesses. It considers itself one of the leading IT and commercial teams in the UK The Role You will be exposed to a broad range of IT contracts across many sectors including automotive, aerospace, retail, food and drink, life sciences, financial services, healthcare and telecoms. There is a diverse and interesting blend of work and the opportunity to learn and develop in this role is greater than many other IT and commercial opportunities. The team has its own clients and business plan - providing support work to our corporate team is a small fraction of turnover. You will advise on drafting and negotiating IT-related contracts. The work will cover IT contracts (traditional licences, SaaS, software development/ licensing, outsourcing, e-commerce, telecoms) across various sectors. Much of the work is private sector although it does advise on significant public sector projects where it can bring particular value. The Candidate You will be a qualified solicitor with practical experience of drafting and advising on IT contracts to support businesses on both turnkey projects and day-to-day business. All level of PQE will be considered.
