Senior Company Secretary / Entity Management Consultant - City of London - In House If you are a Senior Company Secretary / Corporate Governance Professional, who sees the bigger picture, this could be the opportunity for you. This makes them one of the largest legal businesses in the world with a global footprint that exceeds that of any traditional firm. The Team Due to the rapid growth and expansion of the Legal Entity Management and Governance team, there is a new opportunity for a consultant to join the team to help deliver high quality innovative solutions to the firm's clients. Those clients want guidance to help them develop and implement best practice corporate governance principles, help them cope with increasing regulatory compliance and the administration of large amounts of corporate data and the digitisation of that data. The Role Consultants manage a portfolio of clients and demonstrate a very good understanding of their subject matter. They both manage and support clients by working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to tackle some of the most complex client challenges. As a Consultant, you will develop strong relationships with your clients, and are able to contribute to the eminence of the practice by external knowledge sharing and to start investing time in business development. You will be a role model and be able to support junior team members in their personal and professional development You will also be supported in deepening your own technical specialism, widening your cross service line and industry or market knowledge, and continue to develop your management skills. You will be talented, out-going and flexible individual who is confident working side by side with senior personnel. You will have passion for your specialism but are willing to adapt to the evolving environment in which we operate, staying up-to-date on the fiduciary, regulatory and statutory responsibilities of legal entities their directors, officers and managers and advising clients on such matters. The Candidate You will have: · ISCA Grad with experience of working as a company secretary and/or with legal entity compliance. · Understand the key issues on managing both UK entities and global group structures and their compliance issues. · Demonstrate the ability to consult on corporate governance projects · Client-driven commercial awareness · Experience of working in professional services and/or in a global organisation · Enthusiasm for innovation and/or technology-aligned solutions. · An organised, pro-active individual who is driven by personal development.
