Commercial Solicitor - City of London Our global, yet expanding, client has retained us to recruit a talented and ambitious mid level Financial Services Regulation Solicitor to add weight to their financial services team. The Firm This highly regarded, dynamic, firm advises its international client base across all financial services sectors, including banking, wealth and asset management and insurance. The Team The financial services team focus on regulatory transformation and compliance affecting the financial services sector. Specialising in asset based services, emerging technologies and encouraging and enabling innovation. They deliver sound, considered, advice at all levels across an extensive client list. The Role This client facing position offer real opportunity to become a visible, and vital, figure in the team. You will be working closely with senior members of the department whilst forging and maintaining key business relationships. Main responsibilities include: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating any type of Master Agreement documentation for OTCs (English and New York Law as applicable) including but not limited to: securities and loan documentation ISDA Master Agreements (and ancillary documentation), Credit Support Annex, GMRAs, MRAs, GMLSAs, MSLAs, MSFTAs, Prime Brokerage documentation (including prime brokerage agreements and ancillary agreements) futures, Tri-Party Agreements, Collateral Control Agreements, or any other clearing agreements. You will have strong knowledge of IBOR, ISDA, other derivatives, loan, and securities documentation in addition to reviewing product agreements. The Candidate You will be a mid level solicitor, with around 4 years, or more, of solid commercial experience and financial services regulation at a city/ regional firm, in house or equivalent professional services firm.
