Intellectual Property Solicitor - London - Private Practice Mid Sized, specialist, Intellectual Property practice has retained us to recruit a talented and ambitious IP Solicitor to join their market leading team, due to continued expansion. The Firm Highly successful, full service, firm who offer expert advice to household name clients across the full remit of IP law. The Role You will enjoy a mix of contentious and non contentious matters including trade mark, design and copyright cases, as well as licensing and other IP-related disputes, including: Pre-action advisory work Infringement and cancellation proceedings (IPEC, High Court and Patents Court) Oppositions and invalidity proceedings at the UKIPO Alternative dispute resolution procedures (such as mediation) Co-ordinating foreign proceedings and liaising with overseas counsel Anti-counterfeiting work including Customs / Trading Standards actions and online take downs Domain name disputes (such as Nominet and UDRP) Company Names Tribunal cases Negotiating and drafting settlement and co-existence agreements Providing commercial law advice, drafting and advising on commercial contracts with an IP angle (licence and assignment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, due diligence) The Candidate This is a senior level position, you will have solid experience of contentious soft IP litigation before the IPEC, High Court or Patents Court (designs) as well as advisory work.
