Charities & Social Enterprise Solicitor - Private Practice - City of London Market leading , international law firm, is looking to recruit a Charities Solicitor due to the continued expansion of their Charities Team. The Role Specialists in their field, across the UK, the team is down to earth, straightforward, and great to work with. The pride themselves on their collegiate atmosphere. They act for a diverse range of well-known regional, national and international clients including household name charities, social enterprises, grant makers, religious orders, professional societies, universities, independent schools, academies and more. Their advice spans a wide range of issues from governance and constitutional issues, through to mergers, strategic partnerships, trustees' duties and responsibilities, , fundraising, trading and Charity Commission regulatory issues. The Candidate Ideally, you will have Charities sector experience (although this is not essential) or a demonstrable interest to move in to the this area is. It is your technical skills that the firm is more interested in, whether it's in charity law or perhaps corporate, commercial, data-protection or private client expertise. You'll need exceptional drafting, communication skills and a commercial outlook; you may have gained these from working in corporate or commercial (including data-protection) or within private client. In addition, you'll need to be a dynamic and enthusiastic lawyer, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment with others who share the same passion for the charities sector.
