Data Protection Associate Solicitor - City of London - Tier 1 firm The Firm Big name, international, firm with stellar reputation in this sector is looking for a mid / senior Data Protection Solicitor to grow its Data / Privacy department. The Team The team advises a wide range of corporate and other organisations around the world, reflecting the firm's strengths in sectors such as Communications, Media, Ecommerce, Financial Services, Health and IT. Data protection sits as part of our internationally recognised commercial team which consists of c.100 lawyers in London and is our largest. The international commercial group also includes; Outsourcing; IT; Telecoms; Franchising licencing and multichannel strategies; Competition and; Media, entertainment and sport. The Candidate You will be a UK qualified Solicitor with a solid track record in Data and Privacy. You will be advising an exciting group of clients on a diverse range of data protection matters including; GDPR and other privacy compliance, data breaches, data transfer challenges and use of cookies and online tracking. Ideally candidates will have had exposure to working in one or more of the following key sectors: Healthcare, Financial Services, Aviation & Defence and Technology-related The Role You will work with Data Protection Partners and Associates in London and across the international network to advise on a wide variety of data protection matters such as; GDPR and other privacy compliance, data breaches, data transfer challenges and use of cookies and online tracking.
