Data Protection Solicitor - NQ - 3 - City of London - Private Practice Leading national law firm is looking for a junior Data Protection Solicitor to grow its Data Protection/ Privacy department. The Firm UK-Top 100, national, commercial law firm providing a comprehensive range of legal services, to household name clients. The Team The team deals with all aspects of data and privacy law - the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and e-privacy law, as well as new frameworks in both the UK and EU. They guide clients with complex matters that involve regulators as well as supporting clients in developing new technologies in a compliant way and in core and day-to-day advisory work. The team's current clients span a wide range of household name charities and grassroots and community organisations, as well as commercial companies and thought leaders in data, privacy and social impact issues The Candidate You will be a UK qualified Solicitor (between nq and 3 years pqe) with experience of Data Protection & Privacy Laws, either as a sole focus or main focus as part of a related area of law, ie Commercial Contracts or Public Law.
