The Team The dedicated Competition department advises clients on all aspects of UK competition law and antitrust, worldwide merger control, foreign direct investment, subsidy control, competition dispute management, trade remedies and regulation. The team regularly advises on UK national security and investment filings, merger filings and complex investigations into mergers, merger arbitrage, markets, cartels and anti-competitive agreements and abuse of dominance. Andrew and his team have represented clients in antitrust proceedings before the European Commission, the UK competition regulators and the courts. In addition to wide-ranging experience advising on behavioural and transactional antitrust and regulatory issues and on competition litigation, the team has also acted for a large number of private and public sector clients on complex issues of subsidy control, state aid, public procurement, trade remedies and regulation. The Candidate You will be between 0 - 3 pqe, with at least a 6 month seat in Competition Law. You will work closely with an industry leading partner, meaning you will gain fantastic levels of exposure to top level work from day one. You will have at least some of the following experience: working on UK/EU merger filings and/or UK national security and investment filings; assisting on multi-jurisdictional merger control and foreign direct investment analyses; assisting on behavioural competition law advice (vertical and/or horizontal); and/or assisting on subsidy control, competition regulatory advice or competition litigation matters.
