Business Crime and Regulatory Solicitor - City of London - Private Practice National firm, with great reputation in this sector, is actively seeking to recruit a talented and ambitious Associate due to continued expansion of it's Business Crime Team.. The Firm Leading national firm who represent high profile clients on complex, high value and interesting cases. The Team The Business Crime and Regulatory (BCR) team in London currently deal with the full spectrum of privately funded criminal and regulatory cases; this includes advising on and defending corporate criminal investigations, professional misconduct and disciplinary proceedings, as well as high value fraud, serious general crime and extradition. The team have developed an emerging investigations practice and actively bring private prosecutions on behalf of both individuals and corporate clients, so a background of working within law enforcement, the CPS or another prosecuting authority is desirable. The Role You will run your own mixed caseload as well as supporting the three partners in the team on complex cases. The opportunity will suit a self-starter with a proven track-record of success, who is keen to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. You will enjoy exposure to complex white collar crime cases, representing corporations. You will have In-depth knowledge of criminal and regulatory law Around two to five years' PQE in a leading criminal firm or law enforcement agency Experience preparing and running cases in the Magistrates' Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal at differing levels of supervision dependent on the severity and complexities of the case. Ability to advise clients in interview under caution with a variety of investigating agencies.
