Business Crime and Regulatory Solicitor - City of London - Private Practice Tier 1 firm, with great reputation in this sector, is actively seeking to recruit a talented and ambitious Associate due to continued expansion of it's Business Crime Team.. The Firm Leading national firm who represent high profile clients on complex, high value and interesting cases. The Team The Business Crime and Regulatory team specialises in anti-money laundering; bribery and corruption; commercial and trust litigation; corporate investigations, criminal antitrust (cartels); cross-border issues (including extradition and mutual legal assistance); economic sanctions; financial regulation; fraud (civil and criminal); insider dealing; international asset-tracing and tax investigations. They act for governments, corporations, financial institutions, professionals, executives and high net worth individuals. They regularly advise foreign regulators and international organisations. The Role You will run your own mixed caseload as well as supporting the partners in the team on complex cases. The opportunity will suit a self-starter with a proven track-record of success, who is keen to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. You will enjoy exposure to complex white collar crime cases, representing corporations. You will have In-depth knowledge of criminal and regulatory law; Around two to five years' PQE in a leading criminal firm; Experience preparing and running cases in the Crown Court and Court of Appeal at differing levels of supervision dependent on the severity and complexities of the case; Ability to advise clients in interview under caution with a variety of investigating agencies.
