Energy Projects Senior Associate - City of London - Private Practice
Top Tier, international law firm is seeking an ambitious and talented Senior Associate Solicitor due to continued expansion.

The Team
The Global Energy Group is highly successful, acting on many of the most complex, strategic and high value energy and infrastructure transactions in both local and international markets. Within the energy team there are over 150 lawyers covering the full life cycle of a project, from development, financing, construction, operation, revenue optimisation, trading, re-financing and M&A. The team also advises corporate and industrial clients, many of which are household names, as they set to deliver their increasingly ambitious ESG and Net Zero targets.
The team's clients include significant international developers, sponsors, utilities, networks, funds, banks, corporates and industrials, oil & gas majors and government bodies.
The Global Energy Group has a focus on low carbon renewable energy generation but also covers other energy resources such as hydrogen, biofuels, nuclear, interconnectors, battery storage and carbon offsetting.
The Role
You will work on global projects. liaising with teams across a world wide network of offices.
You will be expected to play a leading role on complex transactions, project managing large teams on domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions, drafting principal documents and being a key contact for clients, intermediaries and legal teams on the other side of the transaction. You will play a pivotal role in domestic and cross border transactions.
The Candidate
You will be around 5 years PQE or above and be an experienced transactional energy lawyer.
