COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR - STOCKTON

THE HOURS
- Brand new to the market, this is a term time only role
- You will undertake the same duties as a full time Commercial Property Solicitor, but work term time hours only
- The particulars can be discussed in more detail at interview but the initial plan is as follows:
- A contract requiring a total of 42 working weeks which includes 4 weeks holiday (20 working days)
- Pay would be 80% of usual salary which would be pro-rata across the year i.e. there would still, for example, be pay in August despite the whole of August being term break.
- Part-time or Full-time options are available
- 80% of bank holidays included within package
THE ROLE
- As an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, you will be assisting and advising the firms valued client base on a broad range of commercial property matters including landlord and tenant matters, secured lending, development work and more.
- Clients range from private individuals to multi-national PLC's and you will have the opportunity to interact with existing clients at all levels, whilst also having the freedom and encouragement to develop your own clients
- You will advising on a mixed case load of commercial sales, purchases, site acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending, development work and corporate support
- You will be involved in drafting and negotiating a range of legal documentation to include agreements for lease, leases, contracts for sale, deeds of grant, bespoke overage agreements, options, and conditional contracts
- You will be required to get involvement in business development activities with a view to developing professional relationships and growing our client base
THE REQUIREMENTS
- The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Property matters
- You will have experience advising on a broad range of commercial property matters, to include advising on commercial sales, purchases, site acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending, development work and corporate support
- You will also have strong drafting and negotiating skills including agreements for lease, leases, contracts for sale, deeds of grant, bespoke overage agreements, options, and conditional contracts
