CONTENTIOUS CONSTRUCTION SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE - NQ-5 PQE THE FIRM - International law firm with an office in central Newcastle - Recently created Construction and Projects team, hosting an impressive catalogue of talented Construction Solicitors - Recognised as a Leading Individual in both the Legal 500 and Chambers ratings, the teams head is quite literally one of the best in the field THE ROLE - An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this relatively new team of talented construction lawyers within the Newcastle office of this highly regarded International law firm - You will be responsible for a caseload of contentious construction matters, including complex EPC, construction and engineering disputes, on both a national and international scale - The team work across a number of sectors including energy, power and infrastructure - You will utilise a range of dispute resolution techniques including arbitration, litigation and adjudication. Experience in these methods (and alternatives) is desirable THE REQUIREMENTS - The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or equivalent - You will have between 0-5 years PQE, and previous experience in construction litigation - NQs will be considered if they have previous construction litigation experience, or a genuine demonstrable desire to specialise in this area THE BENEFITS - Competitive salary and benefits package BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
