Property Litigation Lawyer Leading global law firm seeks an experienced Property Litigation lawyer to join their team in London on a fixed term contract for 6-12 months. Their team in London consists of 2 Partners and 6 fee earners. The London Team works for some of the largest investment landlords and developers in the country as well as working on a number of high profile matters for Government departments. The role will involve managing a large number of cases; working independently advising on and managing all stages of the litigation process from the outset to trial, dealing directly with clients; and instructing/working alongside other professionals such as surveyors and advocates. The caseload is likely to include: Clearing off or enforcing rights on freehold land such as easements or restrictive covenants; Development related issues such as rights to light, vacant possession strategies and nuisance claims; Contract disputes concerning land, including pre-conditions, breach and overage disputes; Professional negligence issues arising from real estate transactions; Landlord and tenant, especially business tenancies; 1954 Act renewals; Forfeiture and possession claims; Dilapidations; Rent/Service charge issues; Rent reviews and Insolvency issues impacting on real estate/leases Sought is an experienced Property Litigation Lawyer with upwards of 5 years PQE who is able to hit the ground running.
