Real Estate Senior Associate (Development)| Top 100 Firm| London The firm/team: - A UK leading top 100 law firm are keen to appoint a real estate senior associate into their London team of specialists - The successful candidate can look forward to joining an established team of real estate lawyers who are recognised by their clients for their industry expertise The role: - As a real estate senior associate within the London team you will work closely with one of the Partners in the team and assist on mainly development matters - The partner that you will be working alongside deals with complex development schemes including regeneration projects. This is a strategic new position that we are creating to support this partner so pipeline of work is strong -The successful candidate will be working with a diverse mix of clients both in the public and private sector and will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contacts Work will include: · Site assembly · Development constraint issues - analysis and advice · Vacant possession issues as above · Rights of light issues · Dealing with forward funding/development agreements and real estate aspects of debt finance for development (development CPs) · Pre-lets · Utilities · Basic understanding of planning aspects and construction aspects of development · Sale of land for development purposes conditional on planning etc About you: - Applications are sought from qualified solicitors (ideally 6+PQE) who have a specialism in commercial real estate development work as well as a passion for delivering first-class legal advice - You will be an experienced and commercially minded real estate lawyer, with particular experience of working on complex developments/regeneration projects. - The successful London based individual will have a strong sense of commercial pragmatism and be a team player - The role will suit a personable individual who is keen to get involved with business development and contribute to the growth of the team in London Salary and Benefits: This senior commercial real estate associate will be rewarded with: - A competitive salary in the region of £100,000 DOE - Benefits package - A strong commercial real estate team with excellent work - Hybrid working policy Apply Now If you are a real estate senior associate, keen to make a move to an excellent team in London, please apply with an up to date CV now.
