Corporate Solicitor (1-3 PQE), Professional Services - London This organisation is a major global brand. With the development of a new corporate legal team in London and further expansion on the agenda, they are now looking for a junior level corporate solicitor to join the team. This role comes with a highly competitive salary and excellent training and progression prospects. Although previous knowledge of the energy sector would be advantageous, this is not essential and candidates with general M&A experience are encouraged to apply. As a corporate solicitor in the team you will work under a partner with an excellent reputation in the market and a heavyweight M&A background in private practice, handling complex corporate legal matters. You will play a key role in the team, advising large corporate clients and providing commercial legal advice to management teams and senior director level figures. This role will be varied offering real potential for an ambitious corporate solicitor to push their expertise and progress quickly. High level M&A work forms the backbone of the work within the team however experience in private equity, reorganisations and capital markets work would also be advantageous though not essential. You will have a strong technical ability and most likely will have trained at a Top Tier, international or strong mid-tier firm. The successful corporate solicitor will ideally be between 1-3 years qualified. Much of your work will be alongside non-lawyers in the business which adds to the varied nature of the opportunity.
