Commercial Litigation Knowledge Lawyer / PSL - Dublin This high profile firm has a rare new role, working in a non fee earning capacity as a professional support lawyer in the commercial litigation team. This position will offer the ability to engage with clients and fee earners of all levels within the business in a hugely rewarding and varied role, but without the demands or hours of being a fee earner. If you are looking to move into a role with greater flexibility this is a fantastic opportunity within a leading brand. This professional support lawyer role is an entirely non fee earning position. As this is to work with a team of professional support lawyers, you will ideally have at least 4 years' PQE in commercial litigation as a fee earner or already be a Knowledge Lawyer. The role is based on relationships, both externally with clients and internally with lawyers in the commercial litigation team up to a senior level. You will be in a key role, focusing on communicating legal and market knowledge, central to training and know-how, and supporting the group's business development activities. As well as developing databases and precedents internally, you will produce client knowledge products and be confident providing training and updates internally and to clients. If you are looking for a role you can help shape, supported by two experienced support lawyers in the team, this opportunity is rare in offering the ability to move into a key role at a leading firm but in a non fee earning capacity. Key attributes needed for the role are excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to engage with clients and lawyers within the firm up to a senior level, and an appreciation and interest in commercial issues and changes in the market place. This is an exceptional opportunity to move away from fee earning and will be popular, so strong academics and a background in commercial litigation from a well respected firm is essential.
