Restructuring and Insolvency Senior Associate
Rare opportunity for a 4+PQE non-contentious restructuring and insolvency solicitor to join a diverse and innovative international firm in London. This firm has fully embraced flexible and agile working and has a fantastic reputation for training and developing its lawyers.
Working on a wide range of non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters for creditors, lenders, insolvency practitioners and companies, this role would suit an ambitious junior lawyer looking to gain exposure to quality work within a thriving and busy practice group.
The non-contentious restructuring and insolvency lawyers at this firm form part of the banking and finance group. The team covers the full remit of finance work to include; asset finance, general corporate and syndicated lending, acquisition finance, securitisation and debt capital markets, project finance and distressed advisory work, restructuring and corporate recovery. Boasting an enviable client list to include; UK clearing banks, US and European banks, financial institutions, as well as for borrowers, investors, funds and private equity houses, pension trustees, receivers and insolvency practitioners.
Reporting directly to the Banking & Finance Partners, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a key member within this close-knit and collegiate team and work closely with other colleagues in advising key stakeholders on all types on debt restructuring and enforcement, including contingency planning and security related issues.
Ideally you will have gained at least 4 years post qualification non-contentious insolvency/restructuring experience at a well regarded national, international or specialist firm (although interested candidates with more PQE or NQs with a demonstrable interest in the role are still encouraged to apply). In addition, you will have strong technical skills and a solid academic profile. You will also be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and feel comfortable dealing directly with clients and working with colleagues from different disciplines to deliver joined up advice to clients.
