A partnership/senior associate opportunity is offered to exceptional employment solicitors at this well regarded commercial practice. A strong employment department with a fantastic respondent client base is seeking a partner/ senior associate to assist with continuing the expansion of the team. Working alongside partners the successful candidate will take a leading role in servicing the existing workload and helping to attract new business to the firm. Furthermore you will take an active role in the supervision and training of the team's fee earners, ensuring that the best possible client service is provided at all times. The employment team is successful and well regarded, with the ability and relationships to attract work from across a number of sectors. Matters relating to non contentious respondent files encompass redundancy, TUPE, drafting of documentation and policies, dealing with ad-hoc queries and providing training for Human Resources. The team also undertake contentious work for respondents and offers advice to Director level individuals, including those looking to make a strategic exit. Applications are sought from Senior Associates or existing Partners within leading practices. Candidates should possess a strong background in employment work, with a proven record of providing commercially focussed advice to large corporate clients. Supervisory and business development experience are a must as is the ability to transfer relationships to the firm. Partnership will be immediately available for those candidates that can demonstrate a following of high quality employment work. Individuals who can demonstrate strong contacts and good connections to portable clients will be eligible for a senior associate position that may include a fast track to partnership.
