One of the leading UK and international law firms based in Cambridge is looking to recruit an associate into their commercial team specialising in life sciences.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, business oriented advice, and bring extensive legal, scientific and industry specific insights to its medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
They will act for SMEs, larger PLCs, multi-national enterprises as well as start-ups, research institutes and spin outs providing the full range of legal, commercial and regulatory advice including licence and collaboration agreements.
They will also work on IP and commercial matters for clients in other sectors, including the publishing sector.
The team prides itself on working closely with clients as a trusted advisor for commercial and IP work, and in some cases as an external resource for over-flow of in-house work.
In-house experience can therefore be helpful but is not a requirement.
The Candidate
Ideally the candidate will have:
- at least two years' PQE experience
- excellent academics
- proven experience in intellectual property and commercial work
- experience of and a passion for Life Sciences
The ideal person will thrive on close client contact and will relish the exposure to quality client contact right from the start.
Based in Cambridge, you would have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the life sciences sector, working with clients at the cutting edge of scientific research, in a friendly close knit-office environment.
