Commercial Senior Associate/Partner

Commercial - Partner We are working with a successful and rapidly growing national law firm. They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Associate or Partner to lead the commercial department for their Northampton office. This is a brand new and rare opportunity to secure a leading position within a national law firm, with no following required. The role · Management and supervision of junior solicitors. · Leading on network marketing activities and BD. · Primary source of contact for new clients. · To liaise with other commercial Partners regarding strategic direction of the department. · Managing own caseload (reduced targets) primarily focused on rather complex matters. About you · Qualified solicitor in England & Wales. · Likely to have in excess of 8 years' PQE, focused on general commercial or tech focused. · Exceptional technical skills and demonstrable track record of business development. · Ideally experience in supervising junior lawyers. · Hard working, go-getting individual who will relish the opportunity to lead their own team. · Ideally, a client base of some sort or knowledge of the local market.
