Associate/Senior Associate - Agriculture and Estates The Firm: A Times Best Law firm, ranked among the UK Top 70 with offices across the UK. The firm are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for their Agriculture and Estates team, office based in Cambridgeshire who are consistently top-ranked by Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. Commited to the agricultural industry: have been on the NFU Legal panel since 2009 and have close links to the CLA, with team members sitting on County committees. The team are active members of the Agricultural Law Association, with the Director of Education, Committee members, and 4 Fellows of the Agricultural Law Association. They actively support and encourage engaging with industry groups. The Role: You will be handling diverse farm and estate management, property transactions, tax planning, conservation, and renewable projects. The department cater to major landowners, specialsing in unlocking Biodiversity Net Gain agreements, managing renewable energy schemes, and securing substantial agricultural lending. Their land owning clients have renewable energy schemes and strategic land sales with values in excess of £100m. They act on secured lending for both borrowers and nationally recognised agricultural lenders. About you: You need to be passionate about agriculture! Qualifications include rural property experience, ideally in succession planning or partnerships. Diverse property backgrounds are also welcome, the ideal candidate will mentor junior staff while developing their career. Requirements: 5+ years PQE Strong client management and collaborative skills Exceptional technical and drafting abilities Demonstrated teamwork and commercial acumen Proactive, ambitious, and detail-oriented Extensive benefits package and competitive salary on offer for the right candidate.
