In house NQ Legal Counsel

THE COMPANY A major national business, with a well established and high calibre legal team is looking to hire an NQ - 1pqe lawyer to the team. Turnover is well past a billion pounds / year, they employ many thousands of people, and it is a complex interesting international business, with technology at the heart of its operations. THE ROLE The role is broadly commercial in nature, and would serve as an exceptional springboard to launch your in house career, The workload is diverse, and, according to ability and experience, you will be drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of B2B and B2C contracts. These might be high value and complex (bespoke commercial agreements such as negotiating and advising on complex and high value supplier contracts, IT and software agreements, distribution agreements and service contracts), or more run of the mill work on lower value terms and conditions, or NDA's The team is highly supportive, staffed with experienced and likeable individuals, and will encourage your continuing professional development. ABOUT YOU The Head of Legal is very open minded in terms of your current practice area, being more interested in good quality training, enthusiasm, and aptitude to learn and develop. So if you have a commercial background that could be useful, but if you are due to qualify in March 2023, or indeed qualified in September 2022, and perhaps your chosen discipline might not be giving you the interest, this might be a great opportunity and I would be delighted to speak to you about this opportunity.
