In-house Senior Real Estate Lawyer

One of the UK's leading house builders is looking to grow its legal function with an additional 6+ PQE Real Estate lawyer. The business is based in Northampton but is happy to consider a range of home- and office-based working. Reporting into the Legal Director - Land and Acquisitions based in Northampton, you will be on hand to offer first line advice and have responsibility for transactional work covering the Midlands, Home Counties, Thames Valley and South. You will advise on land acquisitions, options and promotion agreements, strategic land opportunities, regeneration projects and an element of commercial developments. Within the Land & Acquisition function of the legal department you will be involved with the following: - Affordable Housing Sales on a turnkey/golden brick basis; - Planning Agreements; - Joint Venture Agreements; - Legal Charges; - Post completion work; - Management Agreements and Transfers; - Site Title Due Diligence - Site set ups; - Related finance documents - Infrastructure Agreements This is a role that requires a lawyer with good Real Estate experience especially in Land Development, ideally 6+ PQE.
