In-house Counsel - substantial flexible/remote working

In-house Counsel opportunity - Flexible on location I'm working with a global business which is offering the opportunity for a Commercial lawyer to join the team, offering substantial development. This position is open to either Commercial Lawyers or Commercial Litigators looking to move into a more traditional, non-contentious in-house position. With offices in Manchester, London and Birmingham, this position is open to lawyers based in one of these locations combined with substantial home-working, or alternatively remote candidates based anywhere in England who would be able to travel to the office for monthly meetings. This position would suit a Commercial/Commercial Litigation Lawyer seeking to take on a varied in-house opportunity, gaining new skills whilst utilising your contentious background. The Role The In-house Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel to support the business on a range of commercial matters, including: * Drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements, including cross border client services agreements. * Advising and supporting on technology and intellectual property issues. * Advising and supporting on legal issues affecting communications (including advertising, online trading, confidentiality and privacy). * There is also the opportunity to develop your skill set on commercial litigation and compliance matters (including anti-bribery and anti-corruption law, competition law, data protection law, public procurement law, security industry specific regulation). The Person This position is open to lawyers from a variety of backgrounds seeking to develop in a broad in-house commercial role.
